No one was on the spot when the rocks came down. There’s a pretty good drop on the left side. This will affect the brother-in-law how will have to drive a different way on his frequent trips to Hålandsdalen.
This stretch of road is very narrow, curvy and dangerous. There are plans for a tunnel

This morning, I just managed to glimpse through the fog and clouds the far mountain peaks which were suddenly bleached white. I always like that day in the year when I see snow again.
The next milestone will be seeing snow around here, but that might take couple of months.

Another year’s Scotland safari is history and it was, if possible, even better than last year. I still have a high resistance to heat from my Kansas upbringing, but even I was complaining about the heat on Saturday. I’m starting to wonder if they ever have any bad weather in Scotland. Sun screen
